Brief: DEFRA commissioned a series of short animations to share their 25 Year Environment Plan across social media. Working from a library of supplied photographs—wildlife, plants, seeds, sticks—I brought each image to life through subtle animation, using Photoshop and After Effects to create movement and realism.

 

One standout: transforming a static owl into something that felt alive, blinking and breathing, without losing the clean simplicity of the design. The message stayed front and centre, with visuals crafted to be clear, optimistic, and scroll-stopping.
